★★★★★ Irish Times

A love letter to House and the women who shaped it.

Beats, memory and resistance — Ireland’s club culture, remixed.

Taking its cue from the DJ set—build, drop, rewind, repeat—the piece cuts between verbatim interviews and the pulse of Ireland’s 80s and 90s club scene.

Live performance and driving sound weave together the testimonies of female DJs, promoters and singers who carved out space on dancefloors and behind decks. While above ground the country shifted through divorce referenda, reproductive rights battles and the boom years of the Celtic Tiger.

A record of what we’ve been through – reaching out for a hand on the dance floor.
